A HANDY LITTLE GUIDE TO PANORAMA

Welcome to Hotel Panorama. Inside this little guide you’ll find everything you need to make the most of your stay – from where to eat and drink to the bits and pieces that make hotel life easy. Have a flick through, settle in, and enjoy the view (and maybe a drink downstairs while you’re at it).

ACCESSIBLE FEATURES

Certain rooms are fitted with accessible features for the convenience of those with mobility impairment. Please speak to reception if you would like to book one of these rooms on a future visit. Accessible toilets are located in Gaming and near the F&B outlets on Ground & Level 4.

 

BOOK DIRECT AND SAVE 

We love all our guests, but secretly our favourites are our return guests who book direct! Chat with Reception and we can give you a code for a sneaky discount, just a heads-up, it won’t work on certain special event dates. Either way, booking direct always gives you the best flexibility. 

 

GYM 

Get your workout on! Our gym is located on Level 1 and is open from 6am to 10pm. Need extra towels to keep things fresh? Just give Reception a shout and we’ll sort you out.

 

HOTEL OPENING HOURS

Reception staffed 7am-late, Night Porter after hours for assistance. 

 

IN HOUSE LAUNDRY

Fresh clothes, here we come! Our guest laundry is on Level 1, next to the lifts. Coin & card operated for $5. Need washing powder? We’ve got you covered! Pop by Reception and grab a sachet for $1.

 

LOST PROPERTY

Oops… misplaced something? Lost property is kept by Housekeeping for 3 months after your stay. If you think you’ve left something behind, contact Reception and we’ll do our best to help! We can organise return postage (at a cost) or hold the item for a short while for collection. After 3 months, unclaimed items will either be responsibly disposed of or donated to charity.


LUGGAGE STORAGE

If you’d like your luggage stored after check-out until your departure, please bring it down to Reception and we’ll take care of it! Smaller items may also be stored for longer periods and can be collected by a third party if needed. A luggage trolley is available at reception for your use.

 

MEDICAL SERVICES 

First Aid boxes are located at reception and in each F&B department. Defibrillators are located on Ground & Level 4. Should you require assistance in calling an ambulance please contact reception who will send a manager to assist. Please see 'local services' for a list of nearby medical facilities.


PARKING 

Our carpark is a public parking area and spaces are available on a first‑come, first‑served basis, so they can’t be allocated or guaranteed. While we do our best to maintain the area, guests park at their own discretion. Hurley Hotel Group properties are unable to accept responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or belongings within the car park.

VENDING MACHINE

Feeling peckish? Our vending machine is on Level 1 and is available 24/7 for your snacking convenience, day or night, we’ve got your cravings covered!

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT 

Check-in starts from 2:00pm, and if your room’s ready earlier, we’ll do our best to arrange an early check-in, but it can’t be guaranteed. Check-out is 11:00am, though a late check-out until 12:00pm might be possible if you check with Reception. Staying past 12:00pm could incur an extra night’s charge, so plan wisely!

 

E-BIKES & E-SCOOTERS

E-Bikes, E-Scooter, Segway, & hover-boards are prohibited in guest rooms and suites. E-Bikes, E-Scooters, and the like can pose safety hazards within confined spaces and may cause damage to hotel property or inconvenience to fellow guests. We kindly ask that you use designated outdoor areas for parking and charging of such vehicles.

 

FIRE ALARM 

Activation of the fire alarm associated to a guest room for any reason may also result in on-charging the full call out costs for Fire Services.    

 

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICING

Rooms are serviced daily between 9:00am and 2:00pm. If a “Do Not Disturb” sign is on your door during this time (or beyond), housekeeping won’t enter. Need extra towels or amenities? Just call Reception and they’ll get housekeeping to sort it out for you!

 

PARTY POLICY 

A friendly reminder: after 10:00pm, only registered guests are allowed in rooms. Any unregistered visitors or noise complaints could result in a fee or in rare cases, eviction. If an extra guest will be staying, please check in with Reception so we can make a note and avoid any surprises!

PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is super important to us! If you’re expecting a phone call or a visitor, let our Reception team know so we can help connect them to you. Unregistered guests or visitors won’t be given any info about your stay unless you’ve approved it. If a guest needs to charge back to your room or replace a key, make sure they’re registered first, it keeps everything smooth and hassle-free!


SMOKING POLICY

Hotel Panorama is a non-smoking & non-vaping venue. Smoking is not permitted in any inside area including guests rooms and outdoor balconies attached to accommodation rooms. There are designated smoking zones outside the hotel on the ground floor. Extra cleaning fees will be applied (we’d hate for that to happen!), and any costs related to fire alarm call-outs will need to be charged as well.

AIR CONDITIONING

All rooms have individual air-conditioning units. Should you require assistance in operating these please give reception a call.

 

DRY CLEANING

Got a wardrobe refresh on the agenda? Dry cleaning is available through our local favourites, Karl Chehade. For same-day service, simply pop your items in the bag with the order form from your room and drop them to Reception before 8:00am. Any items dropped off after this time will be returned the next business day.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Fresh sheets, fluffy towels, and a little love for the planet too! Hang your towels if you’d like to reuse them. Drop them on the floor if you’re ready for a fresh set. Want to skip room service today? No worries, just give Reception a shout.

FIRE DETECTORS

For your safety, fire detectors are installed in all guest rooms and throughout the building. Please note that excessive steam (hello, long hot showers!) may activate the fire alarm. Take a moment to familiarise yourself with the emergency evacuation points shown on the floor plan behind your entrance door. If a fire alarm does sound, please listen carefully to the instructions over the speaker and follow them accordingly.

 

HOW TO CAST 

Selected streaming services are available, just follow the prompts on the remote and TV. Streaming services will require you to login with your own account to access the service. When you check out these services will be automatically logged out.

 

HOW TO WATCH TV

Each of our rooms are equipped with a smart TV & remote. Simply switch it on via the remote and select your viewing option.

 

HURLEY HEAVEN BEDS

All our mattresses are custom-made Hurley Hotel Group Heaven mattresses, designed for the ultimate sleep experience. If you fall in love and want to take one home, they’re available for purchase through (https://thathotelbed.com.au). There’s a handy card in your room with further details.

 

IN ROOM SAFE

Each room comes with its own in-room safe, perfect for keeping your valuables tucked away. Located in the cupboard, just follow the easy instructions on the safe to get it up and running.

 

IRONING BOARD CUPBOARD

Need to smooth things out? Irons and ironing boards are conveniently located in a cupboard on each level for your use. If you need help finding one or grabbing it, just contact Reception.

 

PRIVACY REQUEST

Your privacy is very important to us. If you’d like some alone time, please place the "do not disturb" sign outside your door. Please know that during your stay, the team will check in with you at least once every three days to make sure you have everything you could want and need. It is hotel policy that rooms must receive a minor service every 3 days to ensure standards of cleanliness are maintained. 

 

RECEPTION # 

Need a hand? Our Reception desk is staffed daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm. Call down by Direct Dial programmed on your phone or pop down anytime. After hours, our night porter has got you covered for minor requests and questions, so you’re never left hanging!

 

TEA AND COFFEE FACILITIES

Depending on your room type, you’ll have access to either a kettle or a pod machine to get your coffee fix. These are topped up by our housekeeping team when your room is serviced, but if you’re running low and need more, just give Reception a call, we’ve got you covered!

 

WATER STATIONS

We’re doing our bit for the planet, so you won’t find plastic water bottles here. Instead, you’ll have refillable glass jugs in your room, eco-friendly and refreshingly simple! Water stations are located on each accommodation level, with an ice machine on level 1.

 

WI-FI 

Wi-Fi is complimentary for all in-house guests. You’ll find the password on the back of your key

wallet, or if you can't find it, just contact Reception and we’ll point you in the right direction.

 

 

COOKTOP 

Cooktops are induction. To operate they must have a pot or pan placed on top of the cooking circle.  When utilising the cooktop be sure to switch on/pull out the extraction fan to avoid a build up of smoke which could activate fire detectors. If your fire detector does sound, immediately turn off the cooktop ensuring that you are minimising the smoke. In the instance that the fire brigade does attend the building due to the smoke build up, you will be responsible for any fire brigade callouts.

 

DISH CLEANING

Detergent is provided for those who’d like to tackle the dishes themselves or feel free to leave it to our friendly housekeeping team! If you need extra cleaning supplies, or if an item has had an unfortunate accident, please let our team know so we can arrange a replacement. Charges may apply depending on the item. 

 

FULL SIZE FRIDGE 

There is a full size fridge & freezer for your convenience. Please see 'local services' for a list of convenient shopping options. Please note any food and beverage items left behind after checkout will be disposed of after 3pm.


MICROWAVE

Plasticware or crockery only should be used in microwaves. Please note that any extensive cleaning may incur a fee.
